Bronx, NY May 14, 2013: The Bronx was undoubtedly a blaze last night for the Private Listening event for TBM’s First compilation mix tape: Fred The Godson Presents: TALKING BOUT MONEY VOL I. Hosted by the teams leader, Fred The Godson was finally ready to reveal his team to the world. Describing his team as the “lyrical artists that people would expect me to work with, Fred the Godson presents: TALKING BOUT MONEY VOL. 1 includes 20 lyrical and hard hitting tracks. Getting the opportunity to work with heavy hitting producers such as BUDA THE FUTURE & GRANDZ MUZIK, BASE BEATZ, and LEGEND, TBM is geared to hit this streets running with their unique sound and style.
Held at the Blokwork Studios in the Bronx, TBM received rave reviews from the DJs, Bloggers, Trendsetters, and other industry insiders who attended the private event. Fred The Godson presents: TALKING BOUT MONEY VOL. 1 will be available to the public May 28th 2013 on Datpiff.com.

Originally created as a rap group, reminiscent of 90’s pioneers such as the Wu Tang Clan & Naughty By Nature, TALKING BOUT MONEY was a rap duo consisting of neighborhood friends Fred The Godson and Virginia Slim. Using music as their outlet from their harsh reality, Fred and Virginia created a name for themselves through the NYC underground Hip Hop scene through cypher rapping. Soon being coined and recognized as a LYRICAL GENIUS, Fred began to gain attention from many major label music executives from Def Jam, Bad Boy, and Sony. After officially going solo in 2007, Fred connected with other MC’s such as Friday Octoba and Dimez the Bully, whom would soon be artists on Fred’s Label. Now consisting of 9 artists (Cris Cain, Block Montana, Papers, Friday Octoba, Dimez the Bully, 808 Spills, Snip Luciano, Realiss, and Bam Vitto Respectively) TALKING BOUT MONEY Records stands not only as a label but as a platform focusing on the breaking of upcoming and new artists.
